Quiet Little Town

We are used to seeing Florence as a busy town full of tourists and bustling business. It is a very different place now with so many stores and restaurants closed. Tuscany is moving from the orange to the yellow zone on April 26, so hopefully things will start to open again.

The pandemic has kick started many shops to go online. Ricardo’s scarf shop, Sam’s leather store, virtual wine tastings, etc. It is the only way that they might survive. I got a sneak peek at a new handbag from Il Perseo that comes in many colors: gray, brown, black, taupe, fuchsia, red, light gray, white and lavender. Nice soft leather in a new modern weave. The price, including shipping is 179 euro.

If you are in the mood for a new spring scarf, you can see the collection at https://massimoravinale.com If you use the code: maren2021, you will receive a 10% discount, and free shipping over 150 euro.

My friends and I wanted to celebrate the less strict Covid regulations at our favorite restaurant, but indoor dining is still not allowed, and it is supposed to rain all week!
Chia says: Get out my raincoat and let’s go!

We have enjoyed the beautiful warm weather here for the last few days. Everything is blooming and beautiful!
