Sadly, most handbags don’t last forever, and I have just let a few of mine go after years of wearing. Therefore, I feel justified getting a couple new bags from the fall collections!
I wear lots of black, so I think this cavallino leopard print bag will be used lots.

I am trying to carry a smaller bag these days, and this one is still large enough for my glasses, wallet, phone, etc.
I also purchased a new taupe leather bag. I love how the small handles can be removed entirely and the thick long strap then attached. The thick longer strap feels good on my shoulder and is long enough to wear cross body also.

I have been spending time wandering around Florence in these cool, sunny days, and have discovered a few shops new to me Oltrarno. One has unique handmade wooden items like these beautiful pens.

I have tried a few new restaurants also, but keep coming back to my favorite Francesco Vini on Borgo dei Greci. Unlike most restaurants here in Italy, it is open all day. No waiting until 7:30 for dinner! The owners, Francesco and his wife, Annalisa are on site, and their son, Fabio (pictured below) is carrying on the family tradition. It has been in business since 1977, and was one of the first to reopen after the pandemic. The food and wine is consistently fabulous!
