This last week Chia and I went on a day tour in Chianti with our friend, Chippie and her daughter. We hired a car and driver to take us to the small towns that are not easy to access by train or bus. What a great day! The driver picked us up at home, and drove us in his beautiful, air conditioned car to several small towns and ended with a lunch and wine tasting. We discovered that the 3 euro wine we usually buy at the sfusi wine shop is pretty bad! The wines we sampled were outstanding. A little nap was had by all on the way back to Florence…
And the Bag of the Week prize goes to Borsa con I Cani.
This is a soft brown suede in a subtle dog pattern with python trim, rolled handles, and fabulous gold hardware. It has three sections: two outside sections with magnetic closures, 3 inches of python lining each and a center zippered section. The center zippered section has a python cell holder and another smaller zippered section. The print of various types of dogs is very subtle on this bag. It is dressy enough for elegant lunches, but casual enough to wear with jeans. The detailed piping in python, and the perfect organization of the various sections is nothing short of fabulous. The color is a bit darker than the photograph shows. This was the very first bag I selected, as I have never seen anything like it!
This bag has to go to a good home! A dog lover, of course….
The detail on this bag is absolutely outstanding…beautiful! What a find!
